Shy at first, affectionate and cuddly after becoming familiar, treats/food motivated, crate-trained, quiet, gets along with dogs and cats

Rescue Story

Ting Ting along with other dogs was discarded by a puppy mill because of their age and low commercial value. The dogs were abandoned inside an outdoor public market. Most of them ran and got hit by busy traffic then died. Ting Ting ran across the street to a convenient store and sat in a corner by herself. When she was first rescued she was very shy her rescuer couldn’t hold her or pet her. She was skittish and ran away to hide. But after two months of fostering, she has improved tremendously and enjoys to be in the company of her human and touches. Ting Ting would need a few weeks to adjust in a new environment as she’s timid with strangers and would back off when approached. She can stay home alone with no separation anxiety. She’s not protective of food towards people and dogs. She likes to chew on fabric and minor mouthing when excited but without many teeth left no damage would incur. Ting Ting is looking for a experienced and patient family who’s willing to work with her on housetraining, walking on leash, and gaining confidence.

If you are interested in adopting Ting Ting please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Ting Ting is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand. Please consider Ting Ting, for your new addition. There is a $300 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
