Rescue Story

As a three-month-old puppy, Super and his two brothers were abandoned on a mountain area in Taiwan where a lot of golf courses are.  The strays are in imminent danger with many cars traveling in high speed through the winding roads.  One of Super’s sibling was bitten to death by a large aggressive stray.  Our rescuer took in the two remaining naïve puppies and provided a place for them to stay.  Super isn’t protective of food towards dogs and humans.  He has slight separation anxiety and often jumps up on people when he wants attention.  He likes to chew so chew toys are a must and with plenty of exercise he would be more well behaved.  Super is looking for an active and experienced family that can take him to obedience training to help him gain more confidence.

If you are interested in adopting Super please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Super is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Super, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
