Rescue Story

Ralphie is a lap dog who just wants to cuddle and being petted.  He has a calm temperament but does enjoy long walks with his humans.  Ralphie, in a very bad condition with matted and dirty hair, was spotted running along traffic in a frenzy and our rescuer got him off the streets.  Due to malnutrition and neglect, Ralphie will require bi-annual dental cleaning and frequent brushing to maintain good dental health from his adoptive family.  He’s looking for an experienced home with no young kids to help him continue efforts in housetraining and being alone.  We think he will make a great only dog or a second dog to an easy-going and laid back small dog.

If you are interested in adopting Ralphie please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Ralphie, for your new addition. There is a $250 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
