Rescue Story

Momo’s previous owner brought Momo to a pet shop trying to sell her because the owner didn’t have time to care for the puppy.  Momo was just about to be sold to a puppy mill when our rescuer stepped in and persuaded the owner to let Momo be adopted saving her from suffering a miserable puppy mill life.  She doesn’t like to be confined to a room or crate and likes to shred papers.  She’s not protective of food towards humans and dogs.  She’s looking for a patient family who can provide basic obedience training and help her work on housetraining.  She’s good in car rides and stays close to her humans.  Momo is friendly with everyone and is looking for a moderately active home which can provide her adequate amount of exercises.

If you are interested in adopting Momo please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Momo is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Momo, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
