Rescue Story

Missy was discarded by a puppy mill. Being under socialized, she’s timid with new people, in public and at home. Strangers can hold her but her body would be frozen stiff. If she’s scared she would try to jump out of the person’s arms so one must be very careful in handling her. For this reason, she’s looking for a home without young children. She loves to be in her human’s company but can also stay home alone nicely crated before becoming well-trained. She stays quietly put in her human’s shoulder bag when one runs errands with her. Missy prefers to go a home with another small dog as she’s playful and sassy with other dogs. She hopes to find a patient and experienced home to help her with further work on housetraining and walking on leash.

Please consider Missy, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
