Rescue Story

Chobby is a social butterfly who will flip her belly up for anyone!  She is always happy to greet both four-legged and two-legged friends with a big smile.  We don’t know what Chobby’s exact breeds are with her short legs and stocky build. Our rescuer found her with another puppy abandoned in a park.  The other pup was snatched up quickly at an adoption fair but no one wanted Chobby because how different she looks.  Hard to believe that no one wants to take this bundle of cuteness home.  She is looking for an active household with another doggy playmate and no feline members as she gets too focused on them and wants to play.  As a puppy with occasional mouthing behaviour, plenty of chew toys are a must in an teenagers and adults only home.  Chobby likes to chase balls and is an avid digger.  She would be a wonderful furry companion to someone who enjoys visits to parks and beaches.

Please note Chobby is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Chobby, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
