Rescue Story

Buddy was a homeless stray in Taiwan. He wandered by the factory where his son was tied to a heavy chain and wouldn’t leave. Even though the workers weren’t friendly towards him, the two dogs kept each other company. A good Samaritan fed them to keep them alive and called our rescuer for help. At Buddy’s current foster place, he has learnt basic commands like sit, down, and down stay. He’s a little shy with strangers and would take a few steps back but remaining calm and gentle. He has no separation anxiety: does well without people and dogs. He prefers to be in the company of people over dogs or dogs that aren’t overbearing and hyperactive. Buddy has a low to medium energy level. He enjoys taking leisurely walks and cuddling on the couch.

If you are interested in adopting Buddy please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Buddy, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
