CERA Beginner’s Basic Dog Training

CERA offers Basic Dog Training classes at http://www.whiterockelks.ca, with easy access from Highway 99. The course is six weeks long, running Sunday mornings (10:00 – 11:00 a.m.).  Our class is small, as we specialize in training dogs who have issues unique to re-homing (dogs adopted from shelters and rescue groups). We will cover sit, stay, heel, leave it, come, down, and many other practical commands. Distractions will increase as you progress. The goal of the course is to teach you to train your dog with positive methods and consistent instruction. It is likely all the course work your dog will ever need. Trainers Margaret & Ruth have over 16 years experience helping rescued shelter and street dogs train their people.

Cost: $130

Space is limited and classes are starting soon so if you are interested, please respond to margaret@ceradogs.org with your name, your dog's name, your phone number, and preferred email address, and we will add you to the list on a first-come first-served basis.

Please Note

All of our adoptions require a home check from one of our volunteers.

Therefore we only adopt out to Greater Vancouver (lower mainland, fraser valley) and Vancouver Island.  Thank you.

Please read each dog's bio in its entirety to ensure your home meets the criteria for the dog BEFORE applying.
